Vectr ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Vectr mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Email address and password (used for authentication).
- Health and fitness data: Exercise sessions, distance, duration, heart rate, speed, and elevation data synced from your device's health platform (Android Health Connect or Apple HealthKit). This data is collected only with your explicit permission.
- Location data: Approximate start location of workouts, used solely to fetch local weather conditions for that activity. We do not track or store your precise GPS route.
- Training plan data: Planned workouts and training notes you enter manually within the app.
- Settings and preferences: Race goals, pace zones, heart rate zones, home location (for weather), and unit preferences.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Service:
- Analyzing your training data to estimate fitness and track progress over time.
- Generating AI-powered coaching insights and weekly training reviews.
- Fetching weather conditions for your workouts to provide context-aware analysis.
- Displaying your planned vs. actual training in the calendar and dashboard.
- Providing nutrition guidance tailored to your training load and goals.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your health data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
Vectr uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored in the United States. Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini AI — Used to generate coaching insights from your anonymized training summary. Raw health data is not sent to Gemini. Google Privacy Policy.
- Visual Crossing — Used to fetch historical weather data for your workout locations. Only approximate location and date/time are sent. Visual Crossing Privacy Policy.
- Android Health Connect / Apple HealthKit — Used to read workout data from your device with your permission. We do not write data back to these platforms.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at alex.pliskin@runvectr.com.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Vectr is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for health data collection at any time via your device's health platform settings.
